Club Day
November 17
This time around Club day had a multi-cultural theme, and the AGS
table looked great with all it's Greek themed decorations. We had
Bachliva, Spanakopita (spinach puffs), pita bread, the Greek flag, and
some of our members even dressed up in togas!! Thanks to Matt,
Lyndsay, Claudia and Elizabeth for all their hard work!!!
Club Day
September 21
Club day was a huge success!!! Not only did all the LPC clubs do a
great job, but AGS won the award for best table for the second year in a
row!!! Not only do they win bragging rights, but also a trophy, and $100.
Great Job to everyone who helped out!!!
Transfer Day
September 29
Transfer day was also very successful, and a lot of fun. AGS was there
with enthusiasm and recruited a lot of new members. So while all the
students hoping to transfer are walking around looking at really
competitive schools they also happen to notice the Alpha Gamma
Sigma Honor Society, which could give their application to their dream
school a little something extra!
Katrina Fund-Raiser
September 12-26
A special thanks to everyone who helped with the Katrina Relief
Fund-raiser. We raised over $3000, along with an extra $500 donation
from the ICC, and thats not including all the money that other campus
groups have also raised for the Katrina Relief effort. All donations will be
sent to the Red Cross. The Katrina Relief fund-raiser was a huge
success, thanks to everyone for all their hard work.
